钟山学院坐落在古都南京东郊，钟灵毓秀的紫金山麓，于1998年经江苏省人民政府、国家教育部批准，由南京卫元舟实业有限公司投资举办。2002年，按教育部规定学院更名为钟山职业技术学院。钟山职业技术学院在创建过程中，得到了省市领导和政府部门、社会各界的高度重视和大力支持，学院占地1000余亩，现有建筑面积12万平方米，建有造型典雅、宽敞明亮的教学大楼和风格独特、设施配套的学生公寓。主要院系：工业与信息化学院；经济与管理学院；土木工程学院；现代服务与管理学院；艺术设计学院；基础教育学院。
