Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) Co., Ltd.

Founded in 1994, Hengli Group is an international enterprise that focuses on its main business and adheres to the real economy, developing a full industry chain covering oil refining, petrochemicals, polyester new materials, and textile weaving. The group currently owns one of the world's largest PTA plants and one of the world's largest functional fiber production bases and weaving enterprises, employing 310,000 people. It has established a national-level "Enterprise Technology Center," and its corporate competitiveness and product brand value rank among the forefront of the international industry. In 2025, Hengli Group achieved total revenue of 899 billion yuan, ranking 78th in the Fortune Global 500, 21st among China's top 500 enterprises, 3rd among China's top 500 private enterprises, and 3rd among China's top 500 manufacturing enterprises.
In 2010, in response to the national strategic call for the revitalization of Northeast China, Hengli Group built the Hengli (Dalian Changxing Island) Industrial Park in Changxing Island, Dalian, one of the seven national petrochemical industry bases. Focusing on national energy security and the needs of industry development, Hengli planned three major sectors in one go: petrochemicals, oil refining, and chemicals. These have now been fully constructed and put into operation, with 80% of the units achieving the world's largest scale and optimal efficiency. Among them, Hengli Petrochemical has an annual PTA production capacity of 17 million tons, making it the world's largest PTA production base; Hengli's 20 million tons/year oil refining and chemical integration project is the first major private refining and chemical project opened to private enterprises by the state, setting multiple industry records upon completion and operation; Hengli's 1.5 million tons/year ethylene project is the world's largest, significantly reducing China's import dependence on high-end chemical raw materials such as ethylene glycol and polyolefins.
