北京市西城区什刹海宁心园老年公寓成立于2011年，至今已经四年，在经营过程中形成一套科学完善的管理方法和模式，我们秉承着“替天下儿女尽孝道，为老人解忧难，为党和政府解分忧”的经营理念，取得了良好的社会效益，得到广大老人和家属的好评，北京市政府为我们颁发了“千家为老”先进单位的称号，市民政局李万军局长，老龄委李建国主任，还有杜区长及市人大委员对我院的工作进行检查和指导。我们与阜外医院、积水潭医院等三家医院建立了绿色通道，利用我们的优势为老人提供*需要的服务。为了更好的推广我们的管理模式，于2013年成立了北京市西城区养老机构服务中心，为各街道办事处托管，政府购买服务提供方便。
