通山康复医院创建于1982年，原名为“通山县福利中医按摩诊所”，是一所以医疗、教学及残疾人针灸推拿职业技能培训为一体的公益性、福利性的医疗机构。三十年来，在通山县委、县政府的亲切关怀下，在卫生局及社会各界地大力支持下，由原来的1个医生、2个床位发展到现在的15个医务工作人员、住院床位30张的通山康复医院，以更好地服务于通山人民，更好地为通山经济建设作贡献。
