SDIC Guangdong Bioenergy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "SDIC Guangdong Energy") is a central state-owned enterprise, formerly known as Guangdong Zhongneng Alcohol Co., Ltd., established in 1995, mainly engaged in the production of extra-grade alcohol and the development of biomass energy.
To implement the national new energy strategy and develop the fuel ethanol industry, at the end of 2009, SDIC Guangdong Energy introduced State Development & Investment Corp., Ltd. as the controlling shareholder through capital increase and share expansion, achieving a strategic transformation from a private enterprise to a central enterprise.


State Development & Investment Corp., Ltd. (abbreviated as "SDIC"), established on May 5, 1995, is a national investment holding company approved by the State Council and a key state-owned backbone enterprise directly managed by the central government. It is one of the first pilot units for the reform of state-owned capital investment companies. After more than 20 years of exploration and practice, SDIC has gradually formed a unique operation model of "equity investment - equity management - equity operation" and "combination of asset operation and capital operation", playing a unique and important role in the development of the national economy and the adjustment of the layout and structure of the state-owned economy.


SDIC Guangdong Energy is the first fuel ethanol production enterprise in Guangdong Province, mainly producing fuel ethanol, edible alcohol, and ethanol disinfectants. The vigorous promotion and use of fuel ethanol is of great strategic significance for ensuring national energy security and food security, achieving green and sustainable development, optimizing energy structure, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, protecting the environment, and promoting local economic and social development.

At present, the company's fuel ethanol products are sold to regions such as Shandong, Anhui, Henan, and Hubei, actively playing a role in serving national strategies and undertaking the important mission of developing clean energy.
