Shenzhen Universiade Center is located in the northeastern part of Shenzhen, in the western part of Longgang Central City. The main stadium (gross floor area of 135,000 square meters, seating 60,000 spectators), main gymnasium (gross floor area of 73,000 square meters, seating 18,000 spectators), and swimming hall (gross floor area of 43,000 square meters, seating 3,000 spectators) respectively hosted the track and field, basketball, and swimming competitions of the Universiade. Universiade Lake covers an area of about 50,000 square meters and features a musical fountain and a large water music stage.
Kaisa will upgrade and renovate the venue facilities, striving to create a high-end sports event platform, a large-scale cultural performance platform, an international high-end convention and exhibition platform, a national fitness culture and sports platform, and Shenzhen's premier outdoor-themed experiential shopping park, forming an industrial cluster integrating six major industries: sports, culture, creativity, education, tourism, and retail.
