China Gas Holdings Limited (abbreviated as: China Gas) is one of China's largest cross-regional energy supply service enterprises, listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (stock code: 0384). Through years of development, China Gas has successfully established a full-industry development structure led by urban pipeline natural gas business, with LPG, LNG, vehicle and vessel gas, distributed energy, natural gas power generation, heating, contract energy management services, as well as gas equipment, kitchenware manufacturing, and e-commerce.

The major shareholder of China Gas is Beijing Enterprises Group Company Limited, which is the largest state-owned enterprise in Beijing wholly owned by the Beijing Municipal Government.

After 15 years of rapid development, China Gas has become a leading enterprise in China's gas industry. In 2013, China Gas was included in the Hang Seng China Mainland 100 Index and the FTSE China Index. In 2013 and 2014, China Gas was rated as one of the "Best 50 Listed Companies in Asia-Pacific" by Forbes Asia for two consecutive years due to its excellent performance and development. From 2016 to 2018, China Gas stood out in the All-Asia Management Team ranking organized by the American authoritative magazine "Institutional Investor", and was rated as the "Most Respected Enterprise" in Asia for two consecutive years, and has received more than 1,000 honors such as "Top Ten Brand Enterprises", "Outstanding Achievement Enterprise", "China's Outstanding Natural Gas Supplier", "Most Potential Chinese Enterprise", and "Best Love Contribution Award". The company's market value in the Hong Kong capital market has exceeded HK$100 billion.

China Gas has currently made extensive project layouts in 29 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across the country. As of the end of March 2018, China Gas has nearly 50,000 employees, more than 700 subsidiaries, over 350 urban gas projects, 629 natural gas vehicle and ship refueling stations, more than 110 LPG distribution projects, 16 long-distance natural gas pipeline projects, 1 coalbed methane development project, 8 LPG terminals, 4 large petrochemical bases, a total gas pipeline network of more than 100,000 kilometers, more than 22 million pipeline gas users, and more than 6 million bottled LPG users. The gas supply covers a city population of more than 150 million. The group also maintains good cooperative relationships with many domestic and foreign financial institutions, and currently has bank credit lines, bond issuance quotas, and special clean energy fund scales exceeding 150 billion yuan.
