Chongqing Urban Comprehensive Transportation Hub (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Transportation Hub Group) was established in 2006 under the name Station Group. In 2009, it was merged into Chongqing Transportation Development and Investment Group. As a key municipal state-owned backbone enterprise, it serves as the construction owner unit for large-scale comprehensive transportation hubs, bus stations and terminals in the central urban area, and other projects. At present, the Group has total assets of nearly 30 billion yuan, property management area of 4.859 million square meters, a workforce of over 1,000 employees, 6 wholly-owned subsidiaries (branches), and 3 joint-stock enterprises.
As a benchmark enterprise for state-owned enterprise reform in the city, the Transportation Hub Group thoroughly implements the decisions and arrangements of the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government and the work requirements of Chongqing Transportation Development and Investment Group. Centering on the four main businesses of "investment and construction, comprehensive development, asset operation, and property management," it fulfills the three missions of "pioneer in TOD comprehensive development, vanguard in market-oriented management reform, and fresh force in key project construction." It has completed and put into use the nation's first high-speed rail overbuild TOD project -- Shapingba Railway Comprehensive Hub, 69 bus stations in the central urban area, and 116 rail-to-ground bus transfer stations, continuously enhancing the people's sense of travel safety, happiness, and fulfillment. The Group actively undertakes the pilot project of national transportation power station-city integration construction -- Chongqing East Station, Chongqing Station, and the construction and development of the Jiuli area in the High-tech Zone.
