State Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd. is located in the scenic Shanghai Science and Technology Green Park. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of State Nuclear Power Technology Co., Ltd., an important state-owned backbone enterprise directly managed by the central government. The company was officially inaugurated on July 6, 2007. State Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd. was established on the basis of the former CNNC Orient Engineering Company. CNNC Orient Engineering Company is a high-tech enterprise focusing on nuclear power engineering, and its staff have rich experience in design and engineering construction management of nuclear power plants such as Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III of Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant, Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant, and Phase I of Chashma Nuclear Power Plant in Pakistan.
