Guangdong Bencao Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Bencao Group") is a state-owned enterprise and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guangdong Publishing Group Co., Ltd. under the Organization Department of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee. It has wholly-owned subsidiaries including Guangdong Pharmaceutical Import and Export Co., Ltd., Guangdong Health Development Co., Ltd., Guangdong Medical Device Industry Co., Ltd., Guangdong Bencao Pharmaceutical Chain Co., Ltd., Guangdong Bencao Pharmaceutical and Herbal Materials Co., Ltd., and Guangdong Pharmaceutical Industry Co., Ltd.
Bencao Group's headquarters is located in Guangzhou, the center of South China. It owns a garden-style office park covering an area of over 10,000 square meters in Guangzhou's urban area and office buildings of approximately 20,000 square meters. It also has a pharmaceutical warehouse of 8,300 square meters that meets GSP standards. The total assets amount to 550 million yuan.
