公司的主营业务是第二类增值电信业务中的因特网接入服务业务(ISP业务)。金田科技前期与房地产开发企业合作,为其开发的住宅小区、商务楼宇投资、建设小区通信机房到用户终端之间的相关通信网络设备、设施,之后与中国电信、中国联通、中国移动等多家通信运营商开展合作,使多家运营商主干网络与金田科技投资建设的网络设施实现对接。从而实现了合作项目内只投资建设一套通信网络,即可实现用户自由选择多家运营商通信业务的运营模式。金田科技前期对小区通信网络设施进行了投资、建设,后期代理通信运营商为小区用户提供宽带、电话、互联网专线等
