Hubei Shida Practical Foreign Language School

Hubei Shida Practical Foreign Language School was founded in 1993. It is a private secondary vocational school approved by the Hubei Provincial Department of Education, administered by the Wuhan Municipal Education Bureau, characterized by practical foreign language teaching throughout the province, and qualified to employ foreign teachers. The school enjoys a unique geographical advantage. Located by the beautiful East Lake, away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, it is surrounded by mountains and water, with fresh air and abundant sunshine. It is a natural oxygen bar, allowing students to enjoy pleasant scenery and feel relaxed while studying. The school is adjacent to Wuhan City College and Wuhan Vocational College of Foreign Languages and Foreign Affairs, and faces Wuhan University across the lake. It has a good academic and cultural atmosphere and is an excellent place suitable for study and life. Over the past 30 years of running the school, it has adhered to the concept of "providing premium education," practiced the development path of "having what others don't, being better when others are new, being distinctive when others are excellent," and condensed the values of "painstakingly practicing internal skills, cultivating character, consolidating foundations, and starting from myself." It has formed the Shida schooling model with "minor language education as the highlight, employment, skills, and regular college entrance examination as the focus, and music, sports, and art as the advantages," accumulating a rich cultural and educational heritage. The hardware facilities are complete and fully equipped. The teaching buildings are elegant and grand, equipped with multimedia teaching equipment, central air conditioning, water dispensers, and other facilities and equipment; outdoor sports venues are complete; there are male and female apartment buildings with complete dormitory living facilities, safe and comfortable; the student cafeteria strictly implements the 5S management system, with high quality and low prices. Since its founding, the school has taken one step at a time, striving to walk every step solidly. Along the way, although the journey to realizing dreams is full of hardships, the school persists in running the school, advancing steadily, and successfully completes its annual enrollment plan. The school scale has continued to expand, from more than 200 students at the beginning to more than 1,000 students now, with 95 faculty and staff members, and has become a school with a stable and mature mechanism.
