Xinghuo Wallet is the core service product of Hunan Xinghuo Wallet Information Service Co., Ltd., officially launched on December 31, 2014. The platform was co-founded by PhDs from Central South University, one of the first batch of Project 985 universities. In October 2014, it received millions in angel investment; in February 2016, it received tens of millions in venture capital from Bertelsmann Asia Investments; in June 2017, it received tens of millions in Series A funding led by Hongshang Capital; and in October 2018, it received tens of millions in Series A+ funding from Zhong'an Nanfang Holding Co., Ltd.
Xinghuo Wallet addresses issues in P2P investment such as information asymmetry, difficult risk control, and difficulty in achieving diversified investment through its IFRM risk control system and big data system, providing investors with a stable, compliant, efficient, and convenient information intermediary service platform.
The platform was independently developed by Xinghuo Wallet's professional and experienced IT technical team. Currently, this series of technologies has obtained 5 software copyrights and has received support from three funds: the National Social Science Fund, the Hunan Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and the Hunan Provincial Entrepreneurship Fund. At the same time, Dr. Yang Li, CEO of Xinghuo Wallet, has published ten professional academic papers, authored four monographs including P2P Online Lending Fund, Research on Credit Risk Management of P2P Lending Based on Social Networks, Evaluation Report on Investment Value of Chinese P2P Enterprises, and Industrial Chain Financial Models and Innovation of P2P Online Lending, and released over 100 P2P platform risk assessment reports, establishing the academic research model for the P2P online lending industry.
