双牌县妇幼保健院承担着全县妇女、儿童身心健康的重任。本站现有职工43人，其中中级职称8人。以妇产科为特色，其它科室为辅的运转方式。全县的母婴保健工作以保健为中心，以保障生殖健康为目的，实行保健和临床相结合，面向群体，面向基层，预防为主，全县各乡镇场都设有防保站。医院拥有B超、电子阴道镜、红外线乳腺诊断仪、妇高征监测仪、围产保健仪、呼吸机、麻醉机、多参数心电监护仪、多参数血细胞分析仪、新生儿暖箱等先*进医疗设备。
