China Kangfu International Leasing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Kangfu") (listed) was established in June 1988. It is one of the earliest finance leasing companies directly under the Ministry of Commerce, named with the prefix "China". In 2014, the company completed its restructuring with the support of two powerful shareholders: State Nuclear Power Technology Co., Ltd. and Sany Group Co., Ltd. The current controlling shareholder, State Nuclear Power, merged with China Power Investment Corporation to establish State Power Investment Corporation (abbreviated as "SPIC"), a central state-owned enterprise group formed for the top-level design of the national energy strategy, holding full licenses in the power sector, which provides an extremely high platform for the development of China Kangfu.
Headquartered in Beijing, China Kangfu has established a Hunan branch in Changsha, a Shanghai Kangfu Nuclear Machinery Leasing Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, and offices in major cities across the country, forming a nationwide customer service network.
