杨林尾镇为仙桃市西南片区*大镇，杨林尾镇卫生院始建于1953年，设有内、外、妇、儿、五官、皮肤、中医、骨伤、口腔、公共卫生科等科室，住院床位数100张。现有专业技术人员68人，副主任医师2人，主治医师33人，医师19人。配备有彩超、全自动血液、生化分析仪、全自动尿液分析仪、500毫安放射机等仪器设备，2013年建成投入使用的全市乡镇卫生院一流的住院部及手术室，全新改造的门诊部和公卫部，*新配备设备齐全的120急救车。担负着全镇8万人口的医疗、保健服务。2013年通过省“四化”乡镇卫生院的验收，2014年全院业务收入居全市乡镇卫生院前3名，年底被评为“仙桃市先进卫生单位”。
