Guangzhou Southern Art Vocational and Technical School

Guangzhou Southern Art Vocational and Technical School is a full-time secondary vocational school of art, approved by Guangzhou Municipal Education Bureau and filed with the Guangdong Provincial Education Department. It is also a brand-new art school with a long history. The school adheres to the educational philosophy of "nurturing virtue through art, strengthening the school with distinctive features", with the purpose of "educating and serving society", and the goal of "delivering talents to higher art institutions at home and abroad". It focuses on the comprehensive development of students in morality, intelligence, physique, and aesthetics, striving to cultivate new-type secondary professional talents with artistic expertise, international vision, aesthetic appreciation, perfection, and both artistic and moral excellence.
The school was founded in 1983, located in the center of Guangzhou, with convenient transportation and beautiful campus environment, covering an area of 65 mu. At present, teaching facilities are complete, functions are comprehensive, and equipment is advanced. It has built multiple art training rooms integrating music, fine arts, and dance teaching, equipped with independent piano rooms, painting rooms, and design rooms. Meanwhile, it has complete teaching and sports facilities, with an advanced experimental training center and an audio-visual education center. There are 15 senior teachers, 10 lecturers, and 6 "double-qualified" teachers. Teachers of fine arts, music, dance, film, and television have high professional standards and rich teaching experience. The school has sound rules and regulations, continuously improved teaching quality, strict and standardized management, transparent scholarships and grants, and a rich and colorful campus culture.
High-quality and high-level employment is the focus of the school's work. After more than 30 years of cultural accumulation, the school has established a huge employment network. Students receive order-based training, and the school has signed "Targeted Training Agreements for Enterprise Employment" with nearly a hundred domestic enterprises. After graduation, students can directly intern and work in these enterprises. The employment rate of graduates over the years has exceeded 98%, the satisfaction rate of employers with graduates has reached 92%, and the satisfaction rate of graduates with the school has exceeded 92%.
Since its establishment, the school has insisted on running distinctive education, concentrating advantageous resources, and focusing on the art college entrance examination.
