[Summary] From Hyundai to the Future
Beijing Hyundai Motor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Beijing Hyundai) was established on October 18, 2002. It was the first Sino-foreign joint venture project in the automobile production field approved after China's accession to the WTO. After 15 years of development, Beijing Hyundai has built a million-unit production and sales system, with a product lineup covering mainstream segments such as A0-class, A-class, B-class, and SUVs.
Beijing Hyundai Chongqing Branch began construction on June 23, 2015, located in the Yufu Industrial Park of Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing. Beijing Hyundai Chongqing Branch was completed and put into production in 2017, with an expected annual vehicle production capacity of 300,000 units and an expected engine production capacity of 300,000 units.
