弥勒市中医医院成立于1983年，位于弥勒市民主街137号（新院正在建设中），是一所集中西医疗、急救、教学、科研、康复、预防、保健于一体的二级甲等中医医院。医院现有职工300余人，下设职能部门11个，临床科室12个，门诊诊室13个，医技科室4个。<br>医院坚持“大医精诚，全心全意为人民健康服务”的宗旨及“坚持以中医为主，走专科专病建设强院之路，建设现代化的中医医院”的发展战略。现有省级重点建设专科1个（针灸推拿科），农村中医药特色专科1个（脾胃病科），州级重点专科2个（老年病科、骨伤科）。医院始终把发展中医院特色建设放在首位，坚持先中后西、能中不西、中西并举和挖掘中医特色疗法的发展方向，使医院成为具有特色的市级中医医院。
