AVIC AVIKOR Automobile Co., Ltd. was jointly established by Xi'an Aircraft Industry (Group) Co., Ltd., Nantong Industrial Holding Group Co., Ltd., and Nantong Suzhou Science and Technology Industrial Park Holding Development Co., Ltd., all under AVIC, with a total investment of up to 10 billion yuan. Developing the automotive industry is one of the main goals of Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) to adhere to the military-civilian integration development strategy and develop civilian products. As a shareholder, AVIC Xi'an Aircraft, adhering to the purpose of military-civilian integration, has leveraged over 20 years of automotive manufacturing experience and technological accumulation to unveil the "AVIKOR" business passenger vehicle, which integrates aviation characteristics and passenger car quality, at the 16th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition. The AVIKOR business passenger vehicle is fully self-developed, with R&D lasting 3 years, strictly following passenger car development procedures and requirements for systematic design and development, fully drawing on advanced aviation manufacturing and process technologies, achieving 35 technological innovations and possessing all intellectual property rights. While extensively using mature automotive supporting technologies, it focuses on applying high-quality aviation interiors, seats, aluminum alloy materials, eco-friendly electric technologies, and many other aviation technologies to automotive R&D. At the same time, AVIC AVIKOR's urban mini bus Mini-Bus was also officially released. The Minibus urban bus, featuring novel, fashionable, and high-tech appearance, is a pure electric micro bus based on advanced design concepts. In terms of hardware configuration, it fully demonstrates high standards of advancement, rationality, humanity, and comfort, and in software configuration, it reflects high requirements for safety, environmental protection, science, and intelligence, mainly in safety protection systems, battery management systems, and intelligent management systems. To implement AVIC's automotive strategic development plan, AVIC AVIKOR Automobile relies on AVIC's brand and resource advantages, seizes the opportunity of the emerging urban logistics and specialized light passenger vehicle market segments, implements a product extension strategy, and develops mid-to-high-end, safe and reliable, comfortable and economical, energy-saving and environmentally friendly self-owned brand products such as light passenger vehicles.
