纸上烤肉是采用上下两层的电烤炉，上面铺上专用的烧烤用白纸，在纸上浇上油后涂抹大体均匀后，将肉片或者其他类食物放在纸上，经过电加温后，纸上的食品就会被烤熟，然后蘸上相应的调料即可食用。这种用电加温在纸上烧烤的方式被称作纸上烤肉。
