Xiamen Airlines, founded in July 1984, is China's first airline operating under the modern enterprise system, jointly established by the Civil Aviation Administration of China and Fujian Province. It is also a member of SkyTeam, one of the world's top three airline alliances. With a registered capital of RMB 5 billion, total assets of nearly RMB 40 billion, net assets of RMB 1.5 billion, and annual operating revenue of RMB 20 billion, Xiamen Airlines is a rare airline globally and the first in China to achieve profitability for 29 consecutive years.
