Meizhou Dongpo

Meizhou Dongpo was co-founded by Wang Gang and Liang Di on June 6, 1996. It has always adhered to combining Mr. Dongpo's culinary philosophy with Sichuan cuisine flavors, integrating folk flavors and national banquet classics, providing food enthusiasts with delicious dishes and a home-like dining experience.
After 26 years of unremitting efforts, Meizhou Dongpo has achieved a dual-wheel drive strategy of catering and food, from source procurement to going global, with over 100 stores worldwide in Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, Chengdu, Wuhan, Los Angeles, and other places.
In June 2008, it became the catering service provider for the Olympic Village (Paralympic Village) operation team of the Organizing Committee of the 29th Olympic Games, and received the special honor of "Chinese Taste, Olympic Standards" and a gold medal.
In 2001, it was designated by Tsinghua University as the first MBA case study on Chinese cuisine tracking. In March 2015, Meizhou Dongpo officially became a Harvard Business School case and was published on the official website of Harvard Business School.
On February 17, 2015, invited by the Thai royal family, it hosted the 60th birthday banquet for Princess Sirindhorn, marking the first time Chinese Sichuan cuisine was served at a foreign state banquet.
In December 2018, it was listed in the French La Liste global outstanding restaurant ranking.
On January 29, 2019, Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee, specially visited the Meizhou Dongpo Olympic Village store during the preparations for the 2022 Winter Olympics to experience Sichuan cuisine, praising Meizhou Dongpo's adherence to "Chinese Taste, Olympic Quality" and commending its chefs as Olympic chefs.
In June 2019, during the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the People's Republic of China, Meizhou Dongpo served as the catering service provider for the National Day parade float department, providing catering services for 145 consecutive days with the preparation team, serving a total of 35,000 person-times.
In February 2022, for the Beijing Winter Olympics, Meizhou Dongpo signed a cooperation agreement with the Equipment Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, officially becoming the "China Home Official Catering Service Provider" and "Chinese National Team Dietary Service Provider." During the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, it provided support services in three aspects (within the closed loop - Olympic Sports Center support team; outside the closed loop - Beijing support camp outside closed loop support center Meizhou Dongpo Guoaocun store support team; outside the closed loop - Meizhou Dongpo centralized distribution support team).
