永定民康医院座落在下洋镇东山村，交通方便，环境优雅。医院占地五千多平方米，以精神病康复治疗业务为主，兼营脑瘫儿童康复治疗与训练；医院配有X光机、B超、心电图、脑电图等各类必要的医疗设备，医院设有病床50张，现有医护人员22人，其中副主任医师1人，主治医师3人。 医院的开业运营，填补了永定区精神病防治业务的空白，将有力推进全区精神残疾人康复治疗工作的开展。
