海安上海交通大学智能装备研究院（下称“研究院”）于2013年筹建，目前建有海安交睿机器人科技有限公司，该公司目标成为*的机器人自动化设备生产及研究企业，并成为一个提供专业化解决方案的综合平台。产品方向包括机器人自动化产线/单元、机器人、机器人控制器等，从围绕汽车零配件制造的自动化系统，逐步向包装、焊接、磨抛等自动化领域延伸，并且对机器人本体进行产品探索与积累，努力成为世界知名的自动化解决专家。研究院目前研发与制造面积约1350平米，从事研究和开发人员近30人。
