泉州市交通建设工程试验检测有限公司前身为泉州市交通建设工程试验检测中心，在泉州市交通建设工程质量监督站的直接领导下，成立于2000年3月。因机构改革，2011年10月变更为泉州市交通建设工程试验检测有限公司，隶属于泉州市高速公路投资有限公司旗下的子公司。公司属福建省交通系统公路水运试验检测的权威机构之一，多年来在泉州市交通质监站的指导下为泉州地区的交通工程建设质量作出大量工作。公司具有公路工程综合乙级、水运工程材料乙级试验检测机构资质等级，持有福建省技术监督局颁发的计量认证合格证书，共开展公路工程试验检测项目达13类124项，水运工程试验检测项目达11类85项。
