Kyligence was founded in 2016 by the original team of Apache Kylin, dedicated to building the next-generation enterprise-level intelligent multi-dimensional database, simplifying multi-dimensional data analysis (OLAP) on data lakes for enterprises. Apache Kylin is an open-source project contributed to the Apache Software Foundation (ASF) by a Chinese team, and has been used as a core big data analytics platform by more than 1,500 companies worldwide. Kyligence identifies key features and patterns from core business queries through its AI-enhanced engine, automatically builds and manages distributed data marts, provides more reliable indicator systems for businesses, further shortens data lake development processes, and unleashes the potential of business self-service analytics. Kyligence's unified SQL interface and services enable intelligent routing across cloud object storage (such as AWS S3, Azure ADLS, etc.), multi-dimensional cubes, high-speed indexes, and underlying data sources, providing high-performance, cost-effective query capabilities for upper-level analytics applications, supporting multiple application scenarios such as business intelligence (BI) analysis, ad-hoc queries, and internet-scale data services.

Kyligence has served customers in banking, securities, insurance, manufacturing, retail, and other industries in China, the United States, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, including China Construction Bank, SPD Bank, China Merchants Bank, Ping An Bank, Bank of Ningbo, CPIC, China UnionPay, SAIC, YUMC, Costa, UBS, MetLife, and other globally renowned enterprises. It has also established global partnerships with technology companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Huawei, and Tableau. Kyligence has received multiple rounds of investment from institutions including Redpoint, Cisco, Broadband Capital, Shunwei Capital, Stata Capital (Fidelity International's proprietary investment arm), Coatue Management, SPDB International, funds under CICC Capital, Gopher Asset, Guofang Capital, ASG, Hongzhao Fund, and Puxin Capital. Currently, the company has opened branch offices or representative offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Wuhan, as well as Silicon Valley, New York, and Seattle in the United States.
