长江经济带产业基金是湖北省委、省政府为抢抓“一带一路”、长江经济带开发开放和长江中游城市群建设等国家重大战略机遇，推进战略性新兴产业发展、传统产业转型升级，引导和推动“大众创业、万众创新”，设立的全国*大规模的产业引导基金。
本基金由湖北省财政出资400亿元作为引导基金，发起设立总规模达2000亿元的湖北省长江经济带产业母基金；母基金再通过发起子基金或直接投资的方式实现对外投资，力争放大到2000亿元，*终带动约1万亿元的社会投资投向实体经济，战略新兴行业。
