交通运输部北海航海保障中心天津海事测绘中心是我国海事系统内三支专业化海事测绘队伍之一，负责北方辽宁、河北、山东和天津三省一市沿海海区共计52个主要港口142幅港口航道图的周期性测绘出图任务，履行航海保障职责，是中国沿海航海保障体系的重要组成部分，承担海道测量、海图及航海资料的出版发行、海事应急抢险扫测、重点水域通航尺度测量等工作。
