上海昆仑新奥清洁能源股份有限公司的前身为上海九环汽车液化气发展股份有限公司，成立于1997年，是当时上海市政府为推进城市交通清洁能源发展而设立的专业公司。2006年，新奥能源控股有限公司（HK.02688）通过股权收购，成为控股股东，公司更名为上海新奥九环车用能源股份有限公司。2012年昆仑能源有限公司（HK.00135）旗下的海南中油深南石油技术开发有限公司又收购其51%股权，并正式更名为“上海昆仑新奥清洁能源股份有限公司”。公司注册资本1.5亿元。公司专业从事加油站、充电站、光伏项目等建设和运营，为用户提供分布式能源整体解决方案。
