Shanghai Ganglian Logistics Co., Ltd. was established in 2003, formed through the merger and restructuring of the sales outlet center, warehousing branch, automobile transport branch, and steel-link shipping of Baosteel Group's First Steel Company. It focuses on providing supply chain logistics services for steel raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products to steel production, trading, and processing enterprises.
Since its establishment, the company has invested approximately RMB 100 million in physical infrastructure and currently owns 113 vehicles and 13 ships. Over the past 12 years, Ganglian Logistics has provided over 100 million tons of logistics services to Baosteel Co., Ltd., Baosteel Stainless Steel, Baosteel International, and their end customers, achieving coverage of a land-water combined transport network across major cities nationwide, establishing water transport routes along the coast and the Yangtze River, and land transport trunk lines in large and medium-sized cities. In 2015, the total volume of automobile and water transport reached 18.65 million tons (including 12.87 million tons by automobile and 5.78 million tons by water).
