Chongqing Children's Welfare Institute

Chongqing Children's Welfare Institute is located by the beautiful Huaxi River in the southern suburbs of Chongqing. It is a municipal-level children's welfare institution of Chongqing. The institute covers an area of over 90 mu, with a building area of nearly 20,000 square meters and more than 200 faculty and staff members. As the largest and most fully-equipped children's welfare service center in Chongqing, it focuses on the care of orphaned and disabled children, medical rehabilitation, special education, family foster care, and residential care for disabled children. It mainly provides nursing and care for disabled children and infants; teaching management and special education for students; medical care and rehabilitation training for orphaned and disabled children; and dietary and nutritional services for children.

The affiliated Rehabilitation Hospital for Disabled Children is a children's specialty hospital primarily serving the community, with comprehensive hardware facilities and strong technical capabilities. It is a professional guidance base for Chongqing Children's Hospital and also a moral education base for the College of Pediatrics of Chongqing Medical University.
