Chongqing Zongshen Aero Engine Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is an enterprise dedicated to integrated business operations including aero engine design and R&D, production and manufacturing, sales, and after-sales service. The company was founded in July 2014, established with funding from Zongshen Power Machinery Co., Ltd., with cumulative investment of 200 million yuan. The company mainly provides power equipment for rotary-wing and fixed-wing general aviation aircraft, UAVs, and other aerial vehicles. It is one of the first innovative enterprises in China to successfully independently develop aero engines with a private enterprise as the main entity. It has successively obtained qualifications and honors including Chongqing New-Type High-End R&D Institution, Vice President Unit of the All-China Federation of Science and Technology Equipment Industry Chamber of Commerce, Aviation Piston Engine Manufacturing Smart Factory, Chongqing Key Laboratory of Aviation Piston Engines, Chongqing Digital Workshop (Aero Engine Production Digital Workshop), and Aviation Piston Engine CNAS Laboratory Certification.
