为强化高新区宜居宜业功能，经市政府批准，成立鞍山市高新区实验学校，为高新区直属全额拨款事业单位、九年一贯制公立学校，学校位于高新区核心区域，占地面积30480平方米，建筑面积16650平方米，设置规模为中学部12班，小学部24班，采取小班化教学。先期建设总投资6986.37万元，2013年9月正式开学。鞍山市高新区实验学校是鞍山高新区*一所自主创办的学校，也是*一所与辽宁省示范性高中鞍山一中合作办学的学校，学校依托鞍山一中教育集团整体效应，努力将学校办成鞍山地区办学条件*好，教学质量*高，全省一流的品牌学校。
