贵州省兴义市吉仁堂药业公司1951年成立，前身为兴义市中西药材公司。2002年4月正式更名为吉仁堂药业公司。2003年5月率先通过国家食品药品监督管理局的GSP认证，同年被政府列为重点龙头企业给予支持。2004年被国家科技部批准成立“国家星火计划龙头企业技术创新中心”，2010年被评为农业产业化经营省级重点龙头企业。公司拥有职工320多人，其中以主业为主的主任药师、副主任药师、主管药师、药师等40多人，其他相关专业技术人员200余人，占公司总人数的65％以上。公司目前拥有资产1亿3千万元，年销售过亿。
