黑龙江紫金铜业有限公司2016年7月13日注册成立，注册资本14.379亿元，15万吨/年铜冶炼项目是贯彻落实党中央、国务院关于深入推进实施新一轮东北振兴战略的实际行动，是黑龙江省规划建设的百大项目之一，也是紫金矿业立足主导产业布局做大做强铜板块的重大项目，于2017年5月18日开工建设，2019年8月18日建成投产，项目总投资约45亿元，其中固定资产投资23.24亿元，环保投入超过5亿元，现已形成年产阴极铜16万吨以上，工业产值超过100亿元的规模企业。
