Chongqing Jianshe Vehicle Air Conditioner Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Company) is a wholly state-owned company. Founded in 1995, the Company was restructured into a limited liability company in 2000, with a registered capital of 160 million yuan and total assets of 900 million yuan.
The Company is located in Chongqing, the economic and cultural center of western China, in Zone B of Jiulongpo Industrial Park. It is adjacent to the Chongqing Outer Ring Expressway, 50 meters from the Huayan Expressway exit, 30 kilometers from Jiangbei Airport, 18 kilometers from Chongqing's largest Cuntan Container Terminal, and about 8 kilometers from the Jiulongpo Port, a water-land transshipment terminal. With well-developed infrastructure and a comprehensive transportation network of ports, aviation, highways, and railways, it occupies a transportation hub position linking east and west and connecting north and south.
The Company covers an area of 118,361.7 square meters, including more than 50,000 square meters of building area. It has more than 700 employees. The Company operates under a general manager responsibility system led by the board of directors and has seven second-level departments to ensure efficient operation. The Company's main product is vehicle air conditioning compressors.
In 1994, the Company introduced 96cc rotary vane vehicle air conditioning compressors from Seiko-Seiki Co., Ltd. of Japan. In 1996, a production line with an annual capacity of 100,000 units was built. In 1998, the Company took the lead nationwide in producing the JSS-96H series environmentally friendly vehicle air conditioning compressors using the new fluorine-free refrigerant R134a. In 2003 and 2004, the Company respectively introduced 120cc rotary vane vehicle air conditioning compressors from the former Seiko-Seiki of Japan and 83cc aluminum rotary vane compressors from Calsonic Kansei of Japan.
The Company has strong research and development capabilities. It has an enterprise technology center recognized by Chongqing Municipality and possesses advanced CAD design, CAE analysis, simulation analysis, prototype trial production, and testing capabilities. It has passed the ISO/IEC 17025 standard accreditation of China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment. It has introduced world-class vehicle air conditioning compressor performance test benches and vehicle air conditioning system bench test benches, and has built compressor durability laboratories, vehicle air conditioning system laboratories, compressor performance laboratories, and NVH noise laboratories. It has overall air conditioning system testing capabilities and can quickly meet various testing requirements for new product development and market customers.
The Company has a rich product portfolio. Its products span the technology platforms of rotary vane iron and aluminum compressors, piston swash plate fixed displacement compressors, piston swash plate variable displacement compressors, and electric compressors, covering displacements from 32cc to 480cc. The products feature energy saving, low noise, long service life, and wide applicability, and can meet the requirements of mini passenger vehicles (cargo vehicles), small sedans, mid-to-high-end small vehicles, compact sedans, SUVs, and light and heavy trucks.
The Company's product sales have consistently ranked among the top three in the industry. Its products have been adopted by well-known OEMs such as Changan Automobile, Changan Suzuki, Changan Ford, PSA, Chery Automobile, Great Wall Motor, Hafei Group, Changhe Suzuki, FAW Group, Dongfeng Nissan, Soueast Motor, Zotye Auto, Gonow Auto, Dandong Shuguang, and JAC Motors.
The Company has successively introduced high-precision quality machining equipment and assembly lines from Japan, the United States, Germany, Switzerland, South Korea, Taiwan of China, and other places: more than 160 sets of special equipment including machining centers, drilling centers, and CNC lathes, and has built multiple machining production lines and assembly production lines. At present, it has an annual production capacity of 2.5 million vehicle air conditioning compressors. The Company widely uses ERP software systems to continuously improve its basic management work, making corporate decision-making and management more scientific.
The Company has a sound quality assurance system. It has obtained national production license certification and has successively passed ISO9001 and ISO/TS16949 international quality system certifications. In 2013, its ISO14001/OHSAS18001 environmental and occupational health and safety system successfully passed the annual supervisory audit by DNV (Det Norske Veritas).
