Wuhan Shuizhiguo Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. was established on July 21, 2015. It is a high-tech environmental protection company integrating the research and development, production, sales, and service of microbial agents for sewage treatment. Its headquarters is located in Wuhan Precision Medical Industry Base, equipped with an independent R&D center. In 2019, it purchased a detached factory building and its own production base in Ezhou, Hubei, established the wholly-owned subsidiary Hubei Shuizhiguo Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and set up two business divisions: the e-commerce division and the aquaculture division. The company's business focuses on ammonia removal and denitrification of industrial wastewater, river and lake ecological restoration, and aquaculture recirculating water farming. It serves customers more than 6,000 times annually and has established a complete online and offline sales and service system. Relying on the National Key Laboratory of Agricultural Microbiology Resource Discovery and Utilization of Huazhong Agricultural University (a 211 national key university), the company has always adhered to a path of professional development and emphasized investment in technological research and development. It has currently applied for and accepted more than 27 patents. In 2016, founder Dr. Wu Dingxin participated in CCTV2's "Entrepreneur Heroes" program, and the project received attention and praise from investors and the general audience. In the same year, "Shuizhiguo MBT - Composite Microbial Enhanced Ammonia Removal and Denitrification Technology" was selected into the 2019 Wuhan Water Pollution Prevention and Control Advanced Applicable Technology Guidance Catalog; "Shuizhiguo MET - Microbial Integrated Ecological Restoration Technology" was selected into the 2019 Hubei Province Environmental Protection Practical Technology; and the "Autotrophic Nitrifying Bacteria Product" was selected into the 2019 Wuhan Innovation Product Catalog. In 2020, the company obtained ISO 14000 Environmental Management System Certification and ISO 45000 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification, and was selected as a Gazelle Enterprise. In 2021, it obtained one mixed feed additive certificate, was awarded the title of "Wuhan Environmental Protection Industry Backbone Enterprise," and won the gold award in the Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group of the National Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. In 2022, it was selected as an industrial enterprise above designated size and as a first-batch innovative small and medium-sized enterprise in Hubei Province.
