包头市威丰稀土电磁材料股份有限公司（以下简称“公司”）成立于2007年12月，注册资本1.3亿元，内蒙古证监局上市辅导企业。2016年为适应市场需求公司在稀土高新区希望园区购地185亩，成立全资子公司--包头威丰新材料有限公司，公司现有员工500余人。
公司以电工钢的生产及销售为主营业务，是西北地区和内蒙古自治区*一家拥有取向电工钢生产线的*高新技术企业，产品广泛应用于变压器及变压器铁芯的制作以及相应互感器的制作，是国家节能减排不可或缺的产品之一。2021年被列入国家高新特精“小巨人”企业。公司年产能15万吨，是国内第三大取向电工钢生产基地、民营取向电工钢生产企业龙头，产品遍及华北、华东、西南、东北等18个省市地区。
由于取向硅钢工艺技术复杂、生产周期长、制造工艺技术长期被严格，国企仅少数几家钢铁企业能规模生产，民企更难望其项背。其制造技术和产品质量是衡量一个国家特殊钢和科技发展水平的的重要标志之一。
公司专注技术研发，与多家高校及科研院所建立长期合作关系，共同研发电工钢等新材料新技术，公司还培养了自己的专业研发团队，从取向电工钢技术到设备一直在不断研发创新，目前公司90%的取向电工钢生产设备都属于自主研发。
