Industrial Bank was established on August 26, 1988, with its headquarters in Fuzhou, Fujian Province. It is one of the first batch of joint-stock commercial banks approved by the People's Bank of China, and was successfully listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on February 5, 2007.
