Hunan Yuyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was established in 2007. It is a high-tech enterprise focusing on agricultural microbiology research and industrial application. Its main business includes organic material decomposing agents, bio-organic fertilizers, microbial inoculants, compound microbial fertilizers, organic-inorganic compound fertilizers (with bacteria), fully water-soluble fertilizers, refined organic fertilizers, soil conditioners, and other full-series products required for soil cultivation, as well as providing overall solutions for ecological agriculture and circular economy to agricultural planting groups. The company has wholly-owned subsidiaries Hunan Yuyuan (Nanning) Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Longzhou Nanhua Changfeng Bio-organic Fertilizer Co., Ltd., and an agricultural technology service center. It also jointly established Guangxi Agricultural Reclamation Changxing Bio-organic Fertilizer Co., Ltd. with Guangxi Agricultural Reclamation Sugar Industry Group Changling Sugar Co., Ltd., and co-built the "China Agricultural Microbiology Science and Technology Museum" with the Chinese Society for Microbiology.
Yuyuan Biotechnology is one of the earliest enterprises in China to engage in agricultural microbiology research. Up to now, it has 11 invention patents and 2 utility model patents, 3 of which are key invention patents in Hunan Province.
