Nanchang Film and Television Communication Vocational College

Nanchang Film and Television Communication Vocational College was founded in 2015. It is a full-time private higher vocational college approved by the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It is included in the national unified enrollment plan, focuses on film and television communication majors, and has the qualification to independently issue nationally recognized college diploma. It is one of the first member units of the Jiangxi Province integrated construction project for ideological and political courses in primary, secondary and tertiary schools, and the second batch of language standardization demonstration schools in Jiangxi Province.

The college is located by the beautiful Ganjiang River in Nanchang High-tech Industrial Zone, a 10-minute drive from downtown Nanchang. It covers an area of about 133,300 square meters, with a planned construction area of about 110,000 square meters. It has more than 3,000 students and more than 200 faculty and staff. It currently has "Five Colleges and One Troupe". The "Five Colleges" are the School of Film and Television Arts, School of Media and Business, School of Marxism, School of Humanities and Quality Education, and School of Industry and Teaching. The "One Troupe" is the Nanying Art Troupe. It offers 25 majors, including film and television directing, dance performance, photography and videography technology, digital media technology, advertising art design, e-commerce, big data and accounting, and computer application technology. It focuses on building five characteristic majors: film and television directing, dance performance, advertising art design, e-commerce, and big data and accounting, which radiate and drive the development of four school-level professional groups: film and television media, music and dance, art design, and media business.

The college has multiple educational platforms such as the Industry-Education Integration Center, Maker Space, and Starlight Entrepreneurship Street. Relying on the digital media red IP community, it realizes "enterprise projects entering the campus", jointly builds training bases, and strengthens the dual improvement of students' skills and academic qualifications. It carries out international exchanges, optimizes service guarantees, builds an integrated system of "teaching, learning, doing, and creating", helps students achieve high-quality employment and growth, and graduates are well received by society and employers. Teachers and students have won many awards in various competitions at all levels, and the college has been awarded "*Best Cooperative Unit" by the Jiangxi event of the Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival for three consecutive years.

The college insists on open education and continuously promotes international exchange and cooperation. It actively participates in the "Belt and Road" education action, promotes international cooperation and cultural exchange with high quality, and has established long-term friendly cooperative relations with many high-level universities in Malaysia, Thailand, Belarus, Hungary and other countries. In September 2024, the college was elected as a council member of the "Belt and Road" (Jiangxi) Vocational Education High-level Development Alliance.
