吉利四川商用车有限公司成立于2016年4月。系吉利集团在收购重组原东风南充汽车有限公司基础上，在南充嘉陵区投资建设的“吉利南充新能源商用车研发生产项目”。公司项目占地近2000亩，计划总投资138亿元，其中一期投资70亿元，建设年产10万台新能源商用车及零部件生产线；二期建设年产1万台清洁能源客车和5万台新能源商用车动力总成生产线。项目建成投产后，年产值可达500亿元。2019年产值约12亿，营业收入约10亿。
