Chongqing Railway (Group) Co., Ltd.

As a specialized company for the investment, construction, and operation management of Chongqing municipal (suburban) railway and urban express rail transit projects, Chongqing Railway (Group) Co., Ltd. was established at the end of 2013 with the approval of the municipal government, and is a key subsidiary of Chongqing Transport Development and Investment Group. At present, the Group is undertaking a total of 7 projects, including Phase I and Phase II of Urban Express Line 15, Line 27, and the Jiangtiao Line, Bitong Line, Phase I of the Yuhe Line, and the Guanba Railway Dedicated Line of the municipal (suburban) railway, with a construction mileage of about 210 kilometers. It is accelerating the preliminary work of 4 municipal (suburban) railway projects from the central urban area to Yongchuan, Nanchuan, Dazu, and Qijiang-Wansheng, helping to build a rail-based Chongqing metropolitan area.
