Overseeing horizontal injection operations at Jiangmen plant. He manages production technicians, mold change technicians, maintenance personnel to ensure efficient machine performance, quality output, adherence to preventive maintenance (PM) schedules. He ensures safety, productivity, continuous improvement within his scope.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Management
o Monitdaily production schedules ensure on-time delivery of targets.
o Optimize machine utilization efficiency (OEE).
o Implement enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) finjection molding processes.
2. Team Leadership
o Directly supervise production technicians, mold change technicians, maintenance staff.
o Conduct training, performance reviews, skill development fteam members.
o Foster a culture of safety, quality, accountability.
3. Technical Maintenance
o Oversee ensure timely execution of preventive maintenance (PM) plans fall horizontal injection machines.
o Troubleshoot machine issues coordinate with maintenance staff external vendors as needed.
o Maintain records of machine downtime, root causes, corrective actions.
4. Quality & Process Improvement
o Work with quality teams to address defects non-conformities.
o Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, 5S) to enhance productivity reduce waste.
5. Reporting & Communication
o Report daily production status, issues, KPIs to William Yeung.
o Collaborate with planning, engineering, quality departments to resolve cross-functional challenges.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Education: Diploma higher in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering related field.
• Experience:
o Minimum 10years of experience in injection molding operations.
o At least 5 years in a supervisory role managing technicians maintenance teams.
• Skills:
o Strong knowledge of horizontal injection molding machines (e.g., Engel, Haitian, Sumitomo).
o Familiarity with mold setup, process optimization, preventive maintenance.
o Basic understanding of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
o Proficient in Microsoft Office ERP/MES systems.
