Inner Mongolia Jitong Railway (Group) Co., Ltd.

Inner Mongolia Jitong Railway (Group) Co., Ltd. is currently the joint venture railway company with the longest operating mileage, better operating scale and efficiency, and operated under a group-based model nationwide. At present, it manages and operates the Ji (ning)-Tong (liao) Railway (944.7 km) and the Xi (linhot)-Duo (lun) Railway (273.9 km), with a total operating mileage of 1218.6 km. Once the under-construction Mengdong railway network is completed, it will reach 4200 km. The existing line transportation capacity is 100 million tons per year, and the freight volume completed in 2009 reached 39.167 million tons. The group adopts a group-based management system and operational model, with 12 transportation production units, 19 subsidiaries (branches), and a total workforce of nearly 13,000 employees. It has been ranked among China's Top 500 Service Enterprises for three consecutive years.
