内蒙古集通铁路（集团）有限责任公司是目前全国营业里程*长、经营规模、经营效益较好和以集团化模式运作的合资铁路公司。目前管辖运营集（宁）—通（辽）铁路（944.7公里）、锡（林浩特）—多（伦）铁路（273.9公里），营业总里程1218.6公里，在建蒙东路网建成后将达到4200公里。既有线运输能力1亿吨/年，2009年完成运量3916.7万吨。实行集团化管理体制和运行模式，集团公司下设运输生产单位12个，子（分）公司19个，从业人员总数近1.3万人。连续3年入围中国服务企业500强。
