开远市中和营中平幼儿园是从2003年9月创办，经过几年的努力奋斗，特别是得到开远市政府.市教育局和当地政府的政策资金等各方面的大力支持和帮助，使中平幼儿园有的较大的发展，在长达11年的时间里，从原租用民用房到原开远市公路总段老板房作为园址，2012年10月得到当地政府的调解；协调了13家村民耕地作为新园址，占地面积为约为6127.2平方米。2013年3月已搬入新园址区，盖两层活动板房作为临时的教学用房，建筑面积为674平方米模式为封闭式，四周都是砌成围墙，园内有天然奇石景观为舞台背景。园内空气清新，环境优美，周边没有环境污染。其中食堂建筑面积为146.3平方米，幼儿玩具有蹦蹦床，攀爬墙、中型滑梯两个、小型玩具两个。现共有幼儿256名，教职工21名，其中大专学历有5人、中专学历有3名、及初中8名。我园正在建盖面积为1538.2平方米的教学楼。
