Wuhan CP Aquaculture Co., Ltd. is a wholly foreign-owned enterprise invested and established by Thailand's Charoen Pokphand Group in June 2015 in Shuiyi Village, Dengnan Street, Wuhan Economic Development Zone (Hannan District), covering an area of approximately 139 mu. It will be built in phases into a professional aquatic feed plant with an annual output of 300,000 tons, an aquatic research and development center, an animal health center, and other projects. It is a comprehensive large-scale enterprise integrating scientific research, production, operation, and technical services. The company's feed products include extruded and pellet crab feed, whiteleg shrimp feed, crayfish feed, freshwater fish feed, special fish feed, and many other varieties, meeting all the needs of the aquaculture market.
It won the titles of "Annual Feed * Enterprise," "Annual *," and "Industry Trustworthy Brand" on the China Crayfish Industry Fengyun List; received the titles of "Outstanding Unit in Safety Production," "Civilized Unit," "Advanced Unit," "Level 3 Enterprise" in industrial, mining, commercial, and agricultural sectors, "Demonstration Enterprise for Feed Quality and Safety Management Regulations," "Outstanding Foreign Enterprise in Innovation and Development," and "Pioneer Enterprise" in Central China aquatic feed; topped the Central China "Aquatic Exchange Conference" Honor List with the title of "Influential Enterprise in Central China Aquatic Feed"; was named a "Key Leading Enterprise" in Wuhan's agricultural industrialization; and serves as a practice base for Huazhong Agricultural University and a teaching internship base for Yangtze University.
