[Summary] Great Love in Mind
Sino-American Tianjin Smith Kline & French Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. is a pharmaceutical enterprise jointly invested by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies, and major domestic pharmaceutical enterprises Tianjin Zhongxin Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. and Tianjin Taiping (Group) Co., Ltd.
As one of the earliest foreign-invested joint venture pharmaceutical enterprises in China, Sino-American Smith Kline & French took root in China as early as 1987. Over the past 20 years, the company has upheld the philosophy of "Great Love in Mind," giving back to society with high-quality products and care. In 2008, in addition to its four well-known OTC brands among consumers—Contac, Fenbid, Bactroban, and SmithKline Anthelmintic—the company also successfully launched Sensodyne, the anti-sensitivity toothpaste recommended by dentists worldwide. New members were added to the Contac and Fenbid brand families: in 2008, the red severe-cold pack of Contac was successfully launched; in 2009, the new headache pack of Fenbid (Paracetamol and Caffeine Tablets) was successfully launched, enabling the company to better safeguard people's healthy lives.
The company places emphasis on being people-oriented and boasts an inspiring "3T" corporate culture. The "3T" culture, introduced in 2007, was further embedded in 2008 after a year of penetration.
The "3T" corporate culture—Trust, Transparency, and Taking initiative—has now become the daily work style of its employees, guiding them to grow together with the company.
