颍上皖能环保电力有限公司由皖能集团二级子公司安徽皖能环保发电有限公司独资设立，公司于2016年4月6日正式注册成立，目前注册资本金1.71亿元，负责颍上县生活垃圾焚烧发电项目及颍上县农林生物质热电联产项目的建设、运营、管理。项目总占地面积约291亩，预留二期垃圾焚烧线600扩建场地。一期工程设计年处理生活垃圾26万吨、处理各类农林废弃物28万吨，年总发电量3亿千瓦时，一期工程总投资6.3亿元。
